Umpqua logoUmpqua Bank recently joined the Lake County Winegrape Commission’s group of affiliate sponsors. “Umpqua Bank is happy to support the Commission and the winegrape community of Lake County,” says Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Manager Dave Duncan.

Umpqua Bank is the West Coast’s largest independent community bank, with locations throughout California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada. In addition to providing a wide range of personal and business banking products and services, Umpqua takes pride in offering exceptional customer service and in supporting the communities in which its branches are located.

“We are deeply committed to investing in the health of the communities we serve, both financially through active lending to businesses and consumers, and with the company’s time and resources,” says Duncan. Besides providing financial support, Umpqua supports communities through its Connect Volunteer Network, which provides every Umpqua associate with up to 40 hours of paid time off per year to volunteer with youth-focused organizations, schools and community development programs. In 2012, Umpqua associates contributed more than 46,000 hours in their communities.

Umpqua also prides itself on offering “an innovative customer experience, backed by personalized customer service and one-on-one interaction.” Bank locations are called  “stores” and are designed to be inviting spaces for customers and non-customers alike to visit, read the paper, surf the Internet, enjoy a cup of coffee – and, perhaps bank.

Umpqua Bank has been recognized nationally and internationally for its unique banking strategy, which combines the sophisticated products and services of a large company with the personal service of a community bank, says Duncan. Among the services and products offered are personal checking, savings and loan products, commercial and small business lending, treasury management services and home lending. Additionally, Umpqua can provide a full range of wealth management services, such as investments, financial planning and trust services through Umpqua Private Bank and Umpqua Investments.
