Spanish and English Language USDA Housing Fair
4085 Main Street
The Lake County Economic Development Corporation (Lake EDC), in cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is planning a Spanish and English Language Community Housing Fair on Saturday, March 16, 1:00-3:00 p.m. The event will be held at Glebe Hall, St. Peter Mission, 4085 Main Street, Kelseyville.
USDA Rural Development Housing Programs give rural working families and individuals the opportunity to buy, build, repair, own or rent safe and affordable homes. Eligibility for these loans, loan guarantees, and grants is based on income and varies according to the average median income for each area.
While several USDA housing programs exist, the fair in March will focus on Single Family Housing Direct Home Loans, Single Family Housing Home Loan Guarantees, and Mutual
Self-Help Housing Technical Assistance Grants.
The purpose of the housing fair is to increase homeownership in Lake County by connecting potential homeowners with lenders, Realtors, and builders so that all parties may increase utilization of USDA housing assistance programs.
For more information on the housing fair, contact the Lake EDC, (707) 270-1540, ext. 101,
